With a B.A. in English from North Greenville University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Ashland University, Charity Yost Reed began teaching rhetoric and creative writing at Anderson University in 2014, the same year she gave birth to twins. She lives with her husband Ben, their two sons, and two miniature schnauzers in Sunset, South Carolina. For generations, her family has lived deep in these Appalachian Mountains that often inspire her work, which has been published by The Critical Pass Review, Olney Magazine, and most recently in a collection of poems by mothers titled, The Magic of Us.
